Settled the native musicality of Pinoys, it’s uncommon that we haven’t produced a big melodious for a prolonged while. The last one that I’ve seen was the big paravent reworking of the manoeuvre lyrical Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah . But previous to that, it would take us back to the heydays of LVN Pictures and Sampaguita Pictures to find a Filipino film melodious. Why aren’t we making musicals anymore? Possibly because the business is too dilatory to mastery them. Creating a melodious takes rhythm and entails a lot of energy. Aside from review the screenplay, the filmmakers have to chew one's nails about composing the songs and choreographing the priduction numbers. It takes months and even years to put out a tuneful, in differentiate to backyard dramas that can be finished in seven days.
